We're recruiting on behalf of our client who are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Electrician.

The Person:
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
* Flexibility to work in shifts and respond to emergency maintenance calls when necessary.
* Physical fitness to perform tasks that may require climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
* A driving licence is necessary.
* A Cherry picker licence would be an advantage but not necessary.
* Programming experience would be an advantage but not necessary
Key Responsibilities:
* You will ensure the safe and efficient operation of all electrical assets across all sites and carry out any electrical work as required.
* Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all machinery across all sites.
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance as required
* Assist colleagues in their duties when necessary
* Servicing and repair of production machinery
* Maintain and troubleshoot servo motor systems, including tuning and programming.
* Replace or repair servo motor components to ensure precise motion control.
* Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot 3-phase AC and DC motors and associated control systems.
* Perform motor installations and ensure proper wiring and connections.
* Work with encoders and feedback systems to ensure accurate position and speed control.
* Troubleshoot and replace encoders when necessary.
* Assemble and wire electrical panels, following wiring diagrams and schematics.
* Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and automation equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
* Calibrate instrumentation and sensors to maintain accuracy.
* Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, troubleshooting procedures, and modifications made to PLC/HMI systems.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements and automation enhancements.
* Analyse and diagnose electrical and automation system issues using Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs.
* Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve faults efficiently.
The Salary will be between £40,000pa - £45,000pa - dependant on experience.
The shifts will be Monday to Friday - rotating shifts:
06:00am - 14:00pm / 14:00pm - 22:00pm.
