Shift Times: Monday to Friday - 8am - 4pm

Salary: up to £31,000 per year.

Engineering @ 365 is recruiting on behalf of our client based in Daventry, a specialist manufacturer producing high-quality engineered components for a range of industries. Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced MIG Welders to join their production team.

Job Description:

As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for manufacturing parts and assemblies using MIG welding techniques, working to production schedules and strict quality standards. The role will also involve preparing materials, setting up tools and equipment, and supporting continuous improvement processes across production.

Key Responsibilities:

*

MIG welding parts and assemblies to meet production and quality requirements.

*

Prepare and set up welding tools, jigs, and fixtures.

*

Cut, size, and prepare materials using saws and other machinery.

*

Follow work orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

*

Work closely with the Quality department to ensure compliance and identify improvements.

*

Record job progress using shop floor data capture systems and ERP software.

*

Inspect finished assemblies and report issues to Quality Assurance.

*

Operate fabrication equipment (training provided).

*

Assist with the development of new components as required.

*

Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.

Requirements:

*

Previous MIG welding experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

*

Ability to read and work from technical drawings and SOPs.

*

Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.

*

Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

*

Flexible and willing to support other duties within production as needed.

Desirable:

*

Experience with TIG welding.

*

Knowledge of ERP or production tracking systems.
