Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical Bias (M&E)
Location: London
Salary: £42,000 per annum (with overtime earning potential exceeding £50,000)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00 (with evening and weekend overtime available for events)

Role Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join a prestigious site in Central London. You will be part of a small in-house engineering team responsible for maintaining all building services systems, ensuring compliance, and providing a professional, customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, chillers, boilers, drainage/sewage systems, plumbing, and commercial kitchen equipment

*

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive tasks to ensure building performance and compliance

*

Manage L8 water hygiene policy and oversee the MRI Concept PPM system

*

Monitor and adjust the Building Management System (BMS) as required

*

Coordinate and oversee subcontractors when required

*

Ensure statutory compliance across all M&E building services

*

Provide support during evening and weekend events, including power failures, catering equipment, and BMS adjustments

*

Work collaboratively as part of a small in-house team, supporting colleagues and wider property services functions

Requirements:

*

Level 3 City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent in mechanical or electrical building services

*

Additional safety/technical certifications (e.g. L8, IOSH, PASMA, CSCS) desirable

*

Strong knowledge of M&E systems and Building Management Systems in a commercial environment

*

Professional, client-facing approach with strong communication and problem-solving skills

*

Based within a reasonable commuting distance to Central London (occasional travel to Milton Keynes office/warehouse required - expenses paid)
