The Opportunity:

An excellent primary school in Bexley is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join their dedicated teaching team in September 2025. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 4 students, ensuring that all areas of the National Curriculum are covered and learning is adapted to meet individual needs.

Assess pupil progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies to support and challenge all students.

Establish a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages high standards of behavior, engagement, and learning.

Collaborate with colleagues and school leaders to develop and implement effective teaching strategies, ensuring consistency and high standards across the school.

Build strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and encouraging their involvement in the school community.

Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.

Person Specification:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

*

A sound understanding of the Year 4 curriculum, with experience in delivering creative and engaging lessons.

*

Proven ability to assess student progress and use this data to inform planning and ensure effective differentiation.

*

Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and productive learning environment.

*

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

*

A commitment to professional development and a passion for supporting students' academic and personal growth.
