Brook Street are working with a highly reputable company in the creative arts sector, who are looking to appoint a Part-time Finance Officer on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be joining a small team and will need to have attributes and qualities of someone who can work with a close knit team as well as on their own.

This role is offering 21 hours/week which can be worked flexibly over 3-5 days/week, on a flexible hybrid basis. Candidates who apply must be able to demonstrate their experience in using sage, as well as have an employment history that evidences experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities

Processing payroll for approximately 20 staff

Preparing weekly pay runs

Managing pre-payments, accruals, and trial balances

Producing management accounting reports for the board

Monitoring invoices and bank reconciliations

Supporting audit preparations

Attend company meetings

What We're Looking For

Experience in accounts or finance, ideally with exposure to payroll and management accounting

Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently

Good communication skills

Experience with Sage products

Salary circa £25,300/year, pro-rata for part time.
TOIL available for any overtime worked (though overtime is rare)
