Job Title: Qualified GCSE Maths & English Tutor
Location: Peacehaven,East Sussex, BN10
Pay Rate: £32-£35 per hour
Hours: 2 hours per week - Fridays 11:30am-1:30pm
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced tutor to support a Year 11 student in Peacehaven (BN10). The role involves delivering GCSE Maths and English tuition to help strengthen subject knowledge and build confidence ahead of upcoming GCSE examinations.

This is a face-to-face role within a school setting and would suit a committed, reliable educator who can provide structured and engaging support.

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver 1:1 GCSE Maths and English tuition

Assess learning gaps and tailor sessions accordingly

Support exam preparation and revision strategies

Provide progress updates as required

Essential Requirements:

Recognised Teaching Qualification (QTS or equivalent)

Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (mandatory)

Experience teaching GCSE Maths and English

Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and exam requirements

Professional, punctual and able to commit to weekly sessions
