Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Brixton, Lambeth
Pay: £109 per day
Contract: Full-time, term-time (Primary School)

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brixton, Lambeth is seeking an Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a rewarding role supporting two Reception children with Autism within a nurturing early years environment.
The RoleYou will be working closely with the class teacher and SEN team to provide tailored, child-centred support. The role requires someone who is proactive, adaptable, and confident supporting children with additional needs.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing 1:1 and small-group support to children with Autism
Supporting learning through play-based and structured activities
Encouraging communication, emotional regulation, and independence
Assisting with personal care where required
Implementing strategies in line with EHCPs
Maintaining a calm, positive, and supportive environmentThe Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:

Has strong SEN experience, particularly with Autism
Has experience supporting children in Early Years or Reception
Is comfortable and confident with personal care
Is patient, nurturing, and resilient
Is proactive and adaptable to the changing needs of young children
