The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine setter/print finisher to work for a growing Client Based in the Heathrow Area.

Pay:

£17.80p/h, with overtime paid £26.70

Shift Times:

Continental shift-

A rotation of 6:30-18:30 and 18:30-6:30 (Days/Nights).

Role & Responsibilities:

As a Machine setter you will have a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Setting and operating various machinery on site to accuracy and specification standards.
• Set and run all finishing machines to the correct format.
• Inspect work for defects and resolve issues where possible.
• Meet production deadlines in a fast-paced print environment.
• Report machine faults to your line supervisor along with routine maintenance such as unblocking the machine and restarting the process when safe.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area.
• Raise IT Support Tickets and enter maintenance tasks/tickets on C-works as they arise.
• Follow all health & safety procedures.

What we are looking for:

Candidates must have experience in machine setting/print finishing.

Must be pro-active in your duties, be able to work on your own initiative and work with others

Must have a good understanding of Health & Safety requirements due to the machinery on-site.

Good time management to work to deadlines.

Excellent grasp of both Verbal and Written English.

Candidates must be flexible to work both shifts.
