We are working with a major automotive business that plays a key role in the UK vehicle supply chain. This organisation operates at scale across multiple sites and offers excellent long-term career development opportunities within a professional workshop environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established site operations team.

The Role

As part of an experienced workshop team, you will ensure vehicles are prepared to a high standard for customers. You will work under the guidance of the Workshop Supervisor and Manager while also being confident working independently.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out general servicing on a range of vehicles

Undertake tyre fitting and replacement

Conduct road testing, ramp testing, and vehicle inspections

Perform mechanical and electrical repairs using approved methods

Diagnose vehicle faults, including electrical issues where required

Complete warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards

Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar Vehicle Technician position

City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3,2 or 1

Full UK Driving Licence

Ability to work independently and make informed decisions

Willingness to support junior technicians when required

Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work

Passion for the automotive industry
