HGV Technician (Nights) - Portsmouth
OTE: £56,500 | Monday to Friday | 5:00 pm - 1:30 am | 40 hours per week

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Technician to join a respected commercial vehicle service provider based in Portsmouth, working night shifts at a modern, well-equipped site. Key Responsibilities:

Perform servicing and repairs on HGV vehicles in accordance with high industry standards

Accurately diagnose mechanical issues using modern diagnostic tools and techniques

Collaborate closely with the workshop team to ensure an efficient and high-quality service

*

Maintain thorough documentation and communicate clearly with colleagues on job progress

*

Follow company processes, safety regulations, and quality procedures at all times

*

Engage in training and development to continuously build your technical skills

Ideal Candidate Profile:

*

Previous experience working as an HGV Technician or in a similar role

*

Level 3 qualification in vehicle maintenance is essential

*

HGV licence is desirable but not essential

*

Experience with well-known commercial vehicle brands is a plus

*

Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills

*

Positive attitude, reliable work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset

*

Good communication and organisational skills
