GSL Education are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join an inclusive school in Hull starting in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join a supportive English department committed to high standards and creativity in the classroom.

Role Overview:
As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across all Key Stages, helping students develop key reading, writing, and analytical skills. You will foster a love of literature and support students to achieve their academic potential.

Role Responsibilities:

Teach English Language and Literature across all key stages.
Deliver inclusive and well-planned lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback.
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental collaboration.
Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and confidence in communication.
Requirements for English Teacher:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Subject specialism in English with solid curriculum knowledge.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Have a fully up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with explanations for any gaps) and an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
