Job role: Recycling Plant Engineer

Basic Salary - £45,000 + Overtime - Paid Travel

Monday - Friday - 7AM - 3PM

We have partnered with a leading manufacturing company, specialising in recycling, quarry, aggregate machinery, who due to continued success are looking to recruit a Recycling Plant Fitter.

The successful applicant will complete preventative and reactive maintenance, attend breakdowns, assist with installations across the local area .

The main responsibilities of the Recycling Plant Engineer will include.

* Ensuring recycling, quarry and aggregate plant equipment is functioning in the correct manner.

* Service, Maintenance and Repair of Balers, Compactors, Shredders, Sortation Machinery, and Mobile Plant Machinery

* Maintaining all equipment on site, such as, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, PLC controlled equipment, sortation equipment, and balers.

* Maintaining all mechanical and electrical process equipment.

* Maintaining balers, compactors, shredding machinery.

* Fault finding and diagnostics.

* Following a PPM schedule and recording follow up work.

* Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.

* Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.

* Assisting production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate.
