Group Financial Controller12 Month Contract | £600 - £700 per day (umbrella) | London, HybridA leading international organisation is seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to lead global financial control activities and oversee short-term cashflow forecasting, cash repatriation, and working capital optimisation. This is a high-profile leadership role, working across multiple countries and engaging with senior stakeholders in Finance, Treasury, Tax, and Operations.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and ongoing development of a global 13-week short-term cashflow forecast, ensuring accuracy and insight.
• Oversee international cash repatriation processes, including intercompany settlements and dividend flows, with effective risk and control management.
• Drive improvements in working capital analysis and reporting to optimise liquidity across the group.
• Partner with Treasury, Tax, FP&A, and in-country finance teams worldwide to strengthen cashflow forecasting and cash management processes.
• Ensure compliance with global financial control standards, maintaining audit readiness and robust governance.
• Build strong relationships across geographically dispersed teams to embed consistent cash management practices.

About You:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with extensive post-qualification experience in global financial control.
• Proven track record in international cash management, cashflow forecasting, and intercompany funding.
• Strong understanding of multi-jurisdictional finance operations and complex organisational structures.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence at senior levels across diverse geographies.
