Your new companyWe are currently recruiting for a Home Ownership Manager to work with a large North West Housing Association. This role is due to the secondment of another staff member.

Your new roleThis is a customer-facing role managing the homeownership specialists. You will deliver services to schemes across a range of sites, ensuring customers receive a high-quality service. You will be responsible for leasehold management, providing value for money whilst ensuring the maintenance of the portfolio, including its appearance and upkeep. You will be responsible for setting management fees and service charges for homeowners. You will also manage the budgets, resources and priorities of the team, ensuring effective and efficient use of resources to deliver agreed performance targets and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with colleagues and contractors to ensure works are completed in a timely and compliant manner and to ensure all compliance obligations are met for customers and monthly scheme inspections must be completed.This is a full-time role, working Monday-Friday. You will be expected to attend the office in Didsbury 1-2 days per week. The rest of the time you will be either working from home or on-site, so a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is needed.What you'll need to succeedIt is essential that the successful candidate has a good understanding of property management and maintenance along with experience of delivering effective leasehold management functions. In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation is required, including section 20 notices, and you will also require strong service charge knowledge. You will have experience of managing a team as this is a requirement of this role, and you will have strong IT knowledge and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A-level qualifications or equivalent are essential and, ideally, you will hold a property-related degree or equivalent.
