  • Monitor attendance, engagement, and emotional wellbeing indicators

  • Help create and deliver wellbeing plans and support strategies tailored to individual needs

  • Liaise with safeguarding leads, external agencies, and families as appropriate

  • Promote a calm, restorative, and inclusive environment within the school community

  • Respond appropriately to incidents of distress, dysregulation, or crisis using positive behaviour support techniques

  • Demonstrates a compassionate, calm, and consistent approach

  • Is confident working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents/carers

  • Can de-escalate situations and apply proactive behaviour support

  • Understands the importance of pupil voice and emotional literacy

  • Is flexible, reflective, and open to training and development

Desirable (But Not Essential):
  • Training in safeguarding, mental health first aid, trauma-informed practice, or Team Teach

  • Experience in pastoral roles, mentoring, youth work, or therapeutic education

  • Familiarity with EHCPs, restorative practice, or attendance support

  • Relevant qualifications in education, youth work, psychology, or social care

What We Offer:
  • A supportive and inclusive team committed to whole-child development

  • Opportunities for CPD in areas such as mental health, autism, and behaviour

  • A nurturing and positive working environment

  • Meaningful, relationship-focused work that has a real impact

  • Access to staff wellbeing initiatives and peer support
