HFG is representing an exciting insurance company who are looking to bring on a Technical Accountant to join their high performing team. In this role you will be required to assist with the delivery of accurate monthly and quarterly technical account financial data as well help Prepare insurance/reinsurance financial account balance reconciliations between ledgers and sub-ledgers.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with IT regarding interfaces and reconciliations between general ledger and sub- ledgers for insurance and reinsurance financial accounting (i.e. premium, loss reserve, ceded activity, etc.
• Assist with the production of quality analysis of insurance/reinsurance financial accounts, providing insight and analysis on the balances in order to support an accurate and reliable consolidated and legal entity financial statements.
• Support and design appropriate and sufficient controls over insurance/reinsurance financial account processes.
• Responsible for maintaining appropriate and current procedures and controls documentation.
