A well-regarded, inclusive school is seeking to recruit three full-time Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a new specialist class launching in January. This exciting opportunity involves supporting pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) - offering the chance to make a meaningful impact every single day.

These roles are ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping children develop communication, life skills, independence and confidence within a nurturing environment.

Role Details

25 hours per week, approximately 8:50am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday (term-time only)

Full-time positions starting in January

Work within a newly formed class designed specifically to support pupils with SLD and ASD, many of whom require tailored approaches to learning, communication and sensory regulation

Collaborate with an experienced, dedicated team focused on creating a supportive, engaging and structured learning environment

Who the School is Looking For

The school welcomes applicants who bring a caring, proactive and resilient approach to supporting pupils with complex needs.

Experience working with children or young people is strongly valued, especially within SEN, SLD, ASD or related support roles

Relevant qualifications in childcare, education or support work are desirable

A patient, empathetic and understanding manner, with the ability to build positive relationships and support emotional regulation

Commitment to promoting pupils' academic, social and personal development, including communication and independence skills

Flexibility, reliability and a willingness to learn as part of a supportive team
