Role: Forklift Driver Warehouse Operative

Location: Brighton, East Sussex

Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am to 15:30pm

Pay: £12.82 per hour

Contract: ASAP until May 2026, possibility for extension

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Forklift Driver Warehouse Operative to join one of our clients, a busy and well established warehouse operation in Brighton, East Sussex.

The Requirements:

• Valid forklift licence Counterbalance or Reach Truck
• Previous experience as a forklift operator
• Good physical fitness and ability to lift products
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and follow instructions
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory systems is advantageous
• Own PPE including safety boots and hi vis vest

The Role:

• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and containers
• Move materials and products to designated warehouse locations
• Stack and organise stock in line with inventory procedures
• Carry out basic equipment checks and report any faults
• Maintain a clean safe and organised working environment
• Support general warehouse duties including stock control and pallet movement
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
