Pickles Recruitment are hiring! Our client is looking for several machine operators to join their production team due to a long-term period of planned and expansive growth in our business.

X 3 Machine Operating Roles

PVC Coating Line Operator

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate and monitor the PVC coating line, ensuring consistent application of coatings to materials according to quality standards.

* Set up, adjust, and maintain machinery to achieve optimal production rates and minimize downtime.

* Inspect coated products for defects, thickness, and uniformity, making adjustments as necessary.

* Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

* Record production data, material usage, and quality checks accurately.

* Adhere to health and safety regulations, using appropriate PPE and safe working practices at all times.

* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production issues and improve processes.

Warping Operator

Key Responsibilities:

* Set up and operate warping machines to prepare yarns or threads for weaving or further processing.

* Ensure correct threading, tension, and alignment of materials according to production specifications.

* Monitor machine performance, identify faults, and perform routine adjustments or minor repairs.

* Conduct regular quality checks on warps, identifying and correcting any inconsistencies or defects.

* Maintain accurate records of production runs, materials used, and any issues encountered.

* Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

* Work collaboratively with other production staff to ensure efficient workflow.

Finishing Line Operator

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate finishing line machinery to complete final processing of products, including cutting, trimming, polishing, or packaging.

* Inspect finished goods for quality, ensuring they meet customer and company standards.

* Adjust machine settings and perform minor maintenance to ensure smooth operation.

* Pack, label, and prepare finished products for dispatch, maximizing protection and minimizing waste.

* Maintain production records and report any defects or equipment issues promptly.

* Adhere to safety and hygiene standards throughout the finishing process.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
