We’re representing an independent telecommunications and Information Technology business who are providing cost effective solutions with high levels of customer support to businesses throughout the UK. They work with industry leading providers to ensure that they can provide their customers with the best solution to meet their needs.

Due to continued success they are looking for people that will help them to broaden their existing client portfolio.

They are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join their team of business development professionals based in their prestigious office in Glasgow city centre.

Business Development Manager

You will play a key role in the growth of the business by ensuring that outstanding customer service is delivered to existing and prospective client accounts, ensuring that specified personal and company targets are achieved.

Coming from a strong background in similar B2B field sales role you will possess good knowledge of Telecoms and IT products and have a passion for developing long term customer relationships.

You will be expected to:

·Possess the skills to understand customers specific needs

·Be a proficient networker who is able to present effectively at business meetings and above all representing the company in a positive and professional manner

·Provide excellent customer service to drive high levels of customer satisfaction.

·Managing individual sales forecast ensuring the correct level of focus is applied to each opportunity

·Updating and management of CRM systems

·Liaise with suppliers to establish product, services proposals and manage service issues

·Ensure all records are maintained

You will have:

·Knowledge of Telecoms Products including telephony systems, mobile, data, audio conferencing, etc.

·Knowledge of the different providers and their specific products

·Experience working in a telecommunications sales environment including meeting and exceeding targets

·A full driving license and have access to a vehicle
