A fantastic opportunity to join an established, national engineering contractor as a PTS Electrician supporting a busy and fast paced E&P and Power and Distribution project delivery and maintenance team.
 
The Role:
Antagrade Electrical Limited  is a rapidly growing and reputable organisation with an increasing portfolio of rail and other infrastructure electrical projects in the south east and across the whole of the UK.
We require an enthusiastic and technically competent, JIB and C&G 2391 approved, PTS Electrician based in the North London or Midlands area - prepared to travel around the region as our project portfolio dictates.
This will involve you being responsible for working on projects for a range of clients including; Network Rail, Docklands Light Railway and major infrastructure contractors and train operating companies.
Our E&P and Power and Distribution teams are responsible for carrying out installation, testing, repairs and maintenance to rail infrastructure including but not limited to: traction power distribution systems, protection and control, SCADA, Auxiliary Supplies, DNO works, Points Heating Installations, signalling power supply systems and train care depot maintenance.
We are currently expanding our portfolio to encompass electrical installation and maintenance of non rail electrical systems.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you will be a qualified, JIB accredited electrician, with experience as outlined in the above works portfolio,
Previous experience as an approved Electrician responsible for multiple field based projects in a rail environment.
Full U.K Driving License - Ability and willingness to travel for UK wide projects 
 
Qualifications:

City & Guilds 2365 - Diploma in Electrical Installations (or equivalent)
City & Guilds 2391-10 - Level 3 Certificate in the Certification of Electrical Installations
City & Guilds 2382-10 - Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations, 18th Edition BS7671
Essential: Level A or B - Network Rail approved electrical competency 
SSSTS / SMSTS desirable but not essential as training will be provided
Personal Track Safety (PTS)
ECS Gold Card desirable
COSS competency desirable
