About the Role

We're seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a busy AV installation and service team. This is a hands-on, field-based role, providing on-site support and maintenance for high-quality AV systems across corporate, education, and commercial environments.

You'll cover a wide region from Oxford/M4 corridor, including Birmingham, Wales, and the West Country, so a reliable vehicle is provided for travel. The role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving on-site, supporting clients directly, and working independently.

Key Responsibilities

Provide on-site AV service, support, and troubleshooting for audio-visual systems, including displays, projectors, video conferencing, and sound systems
Travel across allocated regions efficiently, ensuring punctuality and high standards of customer service
Respond to service calls, diagnosing and resolving technical issues effectively
Assist with system upgrades, replacements, and general maintenance tasks
Maintain accurate job records, timesheets, and service documentation
Communicate clearly with clients regarding system functionality, faults, and resolutions
Work safely and adhere to all company and industry H&S guidelines

About You

Proven experience as an AV Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or similar technical role
Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills for AV systems
Comfortable travelling regularly across multiple regions, able to manage your own schedule efficiently
Excellent communication skills and customer service focus
Full UK driving license
Flexible, proactive, and reliable with the ability to work independently
