About the role

We have created an exciting new role in our Ecommerce team to build out and lead our data and analysis capabilities.

Working closely with the Head of Ecommerce and the wider team, you will work to optimise how we capture, track and store data across CRM, website analytics and sales data.

You will work across the business to define reporting needs and build dashboards and reports to meet them, as well as delivering insight to everyone based on your own findings.

A big focus for the company moving forward is a better understanding of our customers, enriching the data we have, as well creating and delivering an industry-leading CRM program. This role will be key in us delivering this.

You will be passionate about data and always looking for opportunities to improve the way we do things based on data-driven insight.

Some of the responsibilities of this role will be:

  • Data champion for retail, marketing, CRM and digital
  • Support the areas of CRM, PR, Ecommerce, Customer Service and Marketing in building, monitoring and reporting KPIs
  • Work with all teams to understand analytics needs and document requirements
  • Deliver reporting and dashboards across the business
  • Responsible for briefing, managing and overseeing database health and maintenance (including customer data cleansing)
  • Work closely with Digital Marketing Manager to deliver a high-level CRM and customer data plan
  • Creation of general and customised customer segmentation
  • Provide campaign selections for Email and Direct Mail
  • Assist in the development and implementation of multichannel marketing activity and events
  • With the ecommerce and product teams, look at the process of uploading and managing products, identifying opportunities to improve and automate where possible
  • Use data and insights to identify improvements in the effectiveness of our communication, marketing and project activity
  • Identify new sources of data, potential value and ways to collect
  • Be a lead on customer data rights and data usage
