Penguin Recruitment is delighted to say that we are working with a leading global developer specialising in renewable energy projects and developments. Whilst being based in the Southwest of England their global reach enables them to work on battery storage and large-scale solar projects all-over the UK & Ireland as well as Canada, Portugal, Lithuania, Italy, and the US! For this position you will report directly to the UK Head of Development on a weekly basis with any issues or progress reports. This role will require you to directly manage the development of solar and BESS projects. Working closely alongside the Head of Planning, Land and Grid you will ensure all projects are cleared for risks and make it through to completion. You will be expected to come up with new ways to overcome any planning related, political, or technical issues that may arise during projects. It will be your responsibility to make sure that you, and the rest of the team, are up to date with any relevant legislation or regulations for the relevant projects. You will be managing your own workload and that of the more junior members of the team.

Competitive salary based on experience.
Bonus incentive
A salary sacrifice scheme for both bicycles and EV cars.
Comprehensive medical insurance provided by Vitality.
33 days holiday per year (inc. bank holidays)

Excellent organisation skills and a good attention to detail excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Experience using Microsoft office applications.
Strong work values with a high degree of accountability.
