Location: Eastbourne
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours, Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:15)

Minimum 30 hours/4 days considered

Pay: From £47,000 per annum (DOE, non-negotiable)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a General Practice Manager to join one of our longstanding clients, a respected and forward-thinking professional services firm based in Eastbourne.

The Requirements:

ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with substantial post-qualification experience in a practice environment
Strong technical proficiency in accounting software and financial systems
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven leadership capability with experience supervising and motivating teams
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with clients and internal stakeholders
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of financial planning and operational efficiency

The Role:

Lead the financial planning and reporting function, ensuring accurate budget management and performance tracking
Supervise and support a team of accounting professionals, ensuring high-quality delivery and professional development
Maintain robust systems and internal controls, continuously improving workflows and processes
Ensure full compliance with regulatory and professional standards
Assist with business development initiatives and contribute to long-term strategic planning
Conduct financial analyses to support forecasting and data-driven decisions
Oversee preparation of VAT returns and provide sound tax planning advice
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong professional relationships
Drive improvements in operational processes to enhance overall efficiency and profitability
Manage financial data, prepare management accounts, and produce timely financial reports
