We’re working with a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Hackney who are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2. What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting pupils across KS1 or KS2 with daily learning activities
• Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
• Providing targeted support to individuals or small groups
• Helping pupils develop confidence in literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum areas
• Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting social development
• Contributing to a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
What we’re looking for: The ideal candidate will be:
• Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
• Patient, reliable, and approachable
• Proactive and happy to get stuck into all aspects of school life
• A strong communicator who builds positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Adaptable and confident in a busy classroom setting
Experience working in a primary school is helpful, but your attitude, energy, and willingness to learn matter just as much.
