RG Consultancy are delighted to be working with an established and expanding client in the manufacturing industry who are looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant/Assistant Accountant to join their finance team on a full time, permanent basis.

The company is expanding and boasts modern offices on the Deeside Industrial Estate

The Assistant Accountant role reports into the Finance Manager and is responsible for the following:

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Process accruals, prepayments, and journal entries
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Maintain fixed asset register
• VAT returns and support with HMRC compliance
• Support with year-end audit preparation
• Assist in cost accounting and inventory analysis
• Process and review supplier and customer invoices as needed
• Provide support to other finance staff and cover during absences
