Job Description




A very successful Charlotte based entertainment concept is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for an Event Sales Manager. This individual will market, sell and initiate prospects and business development.

Base Pay: $   $45,000 to $55,000 based on experience

Bonus:    10% bonus will be based on both the gross revenue increase in events and the margin targets for the events determined by 10 Park Lanes Management. An additional 10% based on in-house promotional events (not discounts and specials), but actual in-house events, based on the gross revenue increase and the margin targets



  • Manage event administrative requirements and logistics by developing and adhering to any contracts and confirmed agreements
  • Work with internal departments and outside vendors and following up to ensure that corporate standards of quality and service are met
  • Creating and maintaining a working relationship with clients to ensure repeat business
  • Maintaining a close working relationship with each event host. Including but not limited to: meeting and greeting the event organizer, following up with the event hosts to ensure satisfaction and maximize referrals


  • The Event Manager is responsible for increasing event sales revenue by following 10 Park Lanes sales standards & expectations
  • Executing outbound sales meetings and calls to drive awareness
  • Implementing lead generating strategies
  • Identifying and pursuing target markets by monitoring venue and community demographics and create and execute in-house promotional events.
  • Execute the specific marketing plan approved by the 10 Park Management Team, including prospecting events and open houses
  • Prospecting new business, identifying and joining appropriate sales and marketing networking groups
  • Creating a sales and promotional plan to increase events and meeting projected quota set in place by 10 Park Lanes Management team


·         Accountable for the creation and execution of the social media plan. This includes creating clear metrics, setting goals and providing regular reporting


·         Manage all social media platforms


A successful candidate would possess the following:

  • 3 to 5 years of related experience in event sales preferably in hospitality/service/events/sales, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Have a clear desire to lead a small team, this position does include managing other resources
  • Strong sales skills required including experience with prospecting, cold calls, and negotiating skills
  • High energy and creative skills to create and manage a strong presence on all social media outlets
  • Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Strong leadership and people skills, plus the ability to build and foster a team environment

•         Develop and implement promotional events


•         Achieves event sales objectives by leading and executing on sales and marketing plans


Minimum Requirements

•         3-5 years of event/sales experience  

•         Self-Motivated

•         Team Leader

•         Proven ability to generate new business and achieve revenue goals

•         Strong customer service and people management skills

•         Strong verbal and communication skills
