Senior Purchase Ledger Assistant

Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

£35,000 + Pension + 25 Days Holiday + Parking

If you are an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant then this Senior position with a large, local Company will really suit you.

Some of your duties will include:

- Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager and proactively managing a portfolio of supplier accounts

- Covering for the Purchase Ledger Manager during holiday and sickness absences

- Entering and verifying purchase ledger invoices and allocating nominal codes

- Negotiating credits when needed, challenging incorrect invoices and raising queries

- Reconciliations of supplier account records to supplier statements

- Preparing payments within deadlines for weekly and monthly BACs payments
