An exciting opportunity is available for a Maintenance Manager to join a leading social housing provider.
Based across Lewisham, Croydon and Sidcup, the successful Maintenance Manager will earn a salary of £40,000 per annum.
The role involves travel across the organisation’s schemes, so a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

Providing care and support for people in South East London living with mental health challenges, their number one priority is the safety and wellbeing of their tenants.
As a Maintenance Manager you will help to ensure that all tenants live in safe, beautiful and well maintained ; Reporting to the Head of Operations, your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Supporting with Leases and Landlords including reviews, improvement solutions and rationalisation of QVT property Coordinating the workflow process associated with the drafting, execution and instruction of contracted services to ensure jobs are fully completely for all services promptly Managing a team of one or more employees Providing close oversight of responsive repairs, planned and cyclical maintenance/refurbishment projects Carrying out the coordination of supplier performance and contracts, and preparing consolidated supplier performance reports Meeting all statutory compliance standards and associated legislation Taking responsibility for the security and safety of employees and clients through personal and site based security systems To be considered for the Maintenance Manager you must have practical experience in building maintenance and facilities management.
In addition the following key skills and experience are essential: Demonstrable understanding of the issues faced by people with mental health Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to clearly direct others and provide motivation Excellent communications skills, including the ability to negotiate and infuence Demonstrable experience managing diverse teams, contracts, budgets and outsource providers Knowledge and experience of management of Health and Safety compliance in support accommodation services High levels of numeracy and literacy If you are interested in the Maintenance Manager role please apply by submitting a copy of your CV below.
