ABOUT THE SCHOOLProspero Teaching is looking for a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant for a welcoming and inclusive Primary school in Banstead, Surrey. The school is a popular three-form entry mainstream Primary School. The school has a highly supportive leadership team and offers ongoing training for all staff. This role is open to experienced Level 2/3 Teaching Assistants, with the potential for the contract to be extended or made permanent based on performance.
DETAILSLocation - Banstead, Surrey Position - Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Type of work - Supporting the class teacher, assisting with learning activities, providing 1:1 and small-group support, and helping with general classroom duties. Start date - January 2026 or sooner End date - July 2026 (with a view to extend to the end of academic year 2026/27) Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary Full time/part time - Full time Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate GBP90-110 per day (DOE) Hours - 8:15am - 3:30pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONSCACHE Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Minimum 1 year experience supporting pupils in a UK primary school Good understanding of the primary curriculum Strong behaviour management skills Experience supporting pupils with SEN and/or EAL Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
