Electrical Shift Engineer - City of London - £53,000

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a high-profile commercial building in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established building services provider offering stability, ongoing training, and genuine career progression.

Working on a continental shift pattern (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am), you will play a key role in maintaining critical building systems and ensuring the smooth operation of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance

*

Fault finding and troubleshooting on electrical systems

*

Maintenance of LV systems, switchgear, lighting, emergency lighting, and power distribution

*

Supporting critical systems and ensuring minimal downtime

*

Completing statutory compliance tasks and documentation

*

Liaising with subcontractors and site management

*

Ensuring all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations

Requirements:

*

City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent

*

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)

*

Experience working within commercial building services

*

Strong fault-finding abilities

*

Experience working on a shift pattern in a critical or commercial environment (desirable)

*

Good communication skills and a proactive approach
