Our client is a leading logistics provider in the TV and Film industry, supporting major productions across the UK. They are now looking for a Transport Operations Coordinator to join their growing team. This role is key in ensuring the seamless planning and execution of transport schedules, helping productions stay on track and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, schedule, and allocate HGV drivers in line with film production timelines (weekly and monthly).
• Liaise directly with Production Heads of Department (HODs), internal teams, and third-party agencies to confirm transport requirements.
• Conduct thorough checks of driver documentation (licences, CPC, digital tachographs) to ensure legal compliance.
• Monitor and manage driver hours in accordance with EU/UK regulations and the Working Time Directive.
• Coordinate timely vehicle dispatch from the depot, ensuring all transport jobs are correctly logged and recorded.
• Serve as the first point of contact for drivers on matters of compliance and basic vehicle safety.
• Maintain up-to-date compliance and audit-ready documentation.
• Identify potential compliance issues and escalate them to the Transport Manager as needed.
• Support with incident reporting, including initial response and follow-up procedures.

What We're Looking For:
• Proven experience in transport coordination or planning, preferably within a fast-paced or time-sensitive environment.
• Solid understanding of HGV operations, driver regulations, and road transport compliance.
• Confident communicator with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Familiarity with tachograph systems and DVSA compliance standards.
• Comfortable using IT systems such as email, Excel, and transport management software.
