HGV Class 2 Driver - Permanent 

40 HOURS PER WEEK - THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE 1 OR 2 NIGHTS OUT PER WEEK

ANNUAL SALARY BETWEEN: £31,000 - £35,000

Night allowance £26.00 plus secure parking

Rates of Pay

• £14.00PH - Days 5.00AM - 6.00PM 
• £16.00PH - After 40 Hours 
• £15.00PH - Nights 6.00PM - 5.00AM

Day to Day Duties

• Safely operate and drive to transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of cargo while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance of the truck
• Collaborate with dispatchers and logistics teams to coordinate delivery schedules
• Uphold a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries

Essential Skills

• Proficient in commercial driving techniques and practices
• Strong understanding of delivery driver responsibilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid UK Category C Driving Licence 
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card

Desirable Experience

• Tail lift operation: one year preferred
• Pump truck operation: one year preferred
• Stack truck operation : one year preferred

Training 

• Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
