About Us: Our client a leading Tier 1 main contractor with a strong presence nationwide. Our client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in the East Midlands. The initial project will be an 800-plot site in Hucknall.
Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience in any sector or background as we are looking for multi-sector experience. This role can be offered on a contract or permanent basis. Our client provides full support to help you gain chartership and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and managing project budgets and cost plans.
* Conducting cost analysis and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
* Managing subcontractor procurement and negotiation.
* Preparing and submitting interim valuations and final accounts.
* Assessing and managing project risks and opportunities.
* Providing accurate and timely cost reporting to senior management.
* Ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.
* Supporting the project team with commercial and contractual advice.
