📌 Learning Support Assistant Role Overview:

Position: Learning Support Assistant (SEN 1:1)

✅ Key Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support for a child with ASD and ADHD, managing challenging behaviour with consistency and care

Implement and follow individual education and behaviour plans

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to track progress and adjust strategies

Encourage independence and help the pupil engage with class activities

Foster a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment

👤 Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs, particularly ASD and ADHD

Confident managing challenging behaviour and using de-escalation strategies

Patient, reliable, and able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff

Passionate about inclusive education and helping children thrive academically and socially

💰 Pay: £85-£100 per day (depending on experience)
