part time sales and social media markting opportunity! (must attend all 5 days per week Mon to Fri inclusive. hours of attendance negotiable and can fit round other commitments including school hours).
Please note that remote/hybrid/work from home is not currently available at this firm.

The company has a turnover in the hundreds of millions and this position offers hours between Monday to Friday 9-5 at their attractive base. Choose your own permanent working hours.

In line with continued expansion the company wish to strengthen the Sales team by adding a business Sales and Marketing Executive.
Working as part of a busy and friendly team the successful candidate will proactively develop new business and build/nurture existing client relationships to maximise the potential. You will take ownership of your own key accounts and sales calls are mostly to warm leads/lapsed clients. All in a B2B(business to business)environment with support and guidance from your colleagues. Responsibilities will include:
* New business development through telesales and occasional field sales
* Key Account Management
* Generating & Calculating quotations / tender documents
* Developing long lasting relationships with new clients
* Managing the existing and new client quotes
* Use and development of social media platforms to promote the business and build relationships. Could include Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Linkedin
You will ideally have:
* Logistics, distribution, transport, freight, import or export sales experience, (ideal but not essential as training is provided).
* Proven Telesales/telephone marketing experience.
* Experience of negotiating with clients/ suppliers.
* Key account management experience
* Good IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* social media markting skills
* Use of social media platforms to promote the business and build relationships. Could include Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Linkedin
.This position will suit an ambitious sales person ready to further their career to the next level- it will suit candidates from a sales/telephone marketing/telesales/callcentre/contact centte/key account manager/field sales/business development /telemarketing/freight/import/export or similar background. Candidates with experience in marketing, social media marketing via Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok or similar are of particular interest although training is available.
