Tradewind are collaborating with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Burnage, South Manchester, in seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Class Teacher to join the Year 4 team from September 2025. This is a job share position, working three days per week, and will be for the #removed# academic year. You will be paid to scale for this role and ECT's will be considered

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the existing Year 4 teacher to deliver a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum. They will be responsible for planning, teaching, assessing, and managing the classroom environment on their allocated days, ensuring continuity and high expectations for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Work closely with the job share partner to ensure a consistent and joined-up approach to teaching and learning
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing clear feedback and next steps
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school's values and behaviour expectationsThe Ideal Candidate Will:

Be a qualified teacher (QTS) with a passion for Key Stage 2 teaching
Demonstrate excellent classroom practice and high expectations for all learners
Be organised, reflective and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and parents
Be a team player who values collaboration and consistency
Be committed to supporting the progress and well-being of every childTo join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

Hold a relevant Teaching qualification
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
