A market-leading facilities management provider is seeking an HVAP Data Centre Engineering Supervisor to join their operations team at a flagship critical site in Slough. This position offers the opportunity to lead a large engineering team in a high-profile environment, with clear career progression into roles such as Engineering Manager or Contract Manager.

Role Overview:
As HVAP Data Centre Engineering Supervisor, you will oversee daily engineering operations, manage a multi-skilled team, and ensure all critical systems are maintained to the highest standard. You will act as the primary client contact on site, ensuring smooth communication and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (with flexibility to cover shifts when required).

*

Lead and manage a large engineering team across a busy critical site.

*

Carry out HV switching operations in accordance with site procedures.

*

Ensure planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works are completed on time and to a high standard.

*

Act as the main client-facing representative, handling requests and issues professionally.

*

Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management for engineering staff.

*

Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

*

Maintain all compliance documentation and ensure adherence to statutory regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

*

Valid HV Authorised Person (HVAP) ticket.

*

Strong background in HV switching operations.

*

3-5 years' supervisory experience managing large teams under pressure.

*

Proven data centre experience and critical engineering background.

*

Excellent client-facing and communication skills.

*

City & Guilds 18th Edition and Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent).
