We do What we Say
That's why we need people like you to help us deliver on our promises. People who enjoy getting things done.

We're on the lookout for a talented and dedicated Plant Mechanic to join our hardworking Plant Team. If you thrive on getting stuck in, solving problems, and keeping vital equipment running smoothly, then we'd love to hear from you.

The Role:

As a key part of the team, you'll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of plant assets - from towable equipment to larger machinery used across our sites. You'll help ensure everything runs safely and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Here are some of the activities you will be involved in...

  • Servicing and maintaining a wide range of company plant assets, including towable equipment
  • Carrying out timely repairs and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
  • Liaising with the Workshop Supervisor to manage and prioritise tasks
  • Maintaining accurate service records and completing all necessary paperwork
  • Supporting other members of the Clancy Plant team where needed
  • Delivering excellent internal customer service across departments

Please note that this list is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be required as part of your role.

We would love to hear from you if...

You hold an NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in plant maintenance, and have proven experience in a similar role. You'll need strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities, with the confidence to carry out repairs under pressure and to tight timescales.

A full UK driving licence is essential, as is having your own toolkit to carry out the necessary work. Most importantly, you'll be someone who takes pride in what you do, enjoys working as part of a team, and is committed to delivering work safely and efficiently.
