My Client a leader in their field are looking for an experienced and highly capable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for their Sittingbourne site. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a respected name in aerospace manufacturing, supporting some of the industry's most prestigious clients.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll be working in a dynamic environment producing product for the aerospace sector. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring their equipment and facilities run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer your key responsibilities will include:
* Maintenance of Buildings facilities and Equipment and ensuring compliance
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
* Create and implement maintenance procedures
* Oversee routine site maintenance and asset management
* Schedule and manage external inspections and subcontractors
* Conduct weekly fire alarm and fire exit checks
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and problem solving
* Adhere to and promote health, safety, and environmental compliance
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will have:
* Proven experience in a site maintenance engineering role
* Strong mechanical background
* Good electrical knowledge, 18th Edition certification desirable
* Comfortable working at heights
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Able to remain calm under pressure and work well as part of a team
* PC literate
* Welding skills and forklift licence are an advantage
Working hours are Monday-Thursday 7.30am-4.00pm and Friday 7.30am-1.00pm.
