Are you a driven and commercially minded Town Planner looking to take the next step in your career? We're working exclusively with a respected and fast-growing planning consultancy based in the North West to find an exceptional Associate Town Planner to join their dynamic team.

About the Company

This boutique planning consultancy has built a strong reputation across the North West for delivering high-quality planning advice across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors. With a collaborative and agile culture, they are passionate about the places they help shape and the people they work with - both clients and colleagues.

Due to sustained growth and a healthy pipeline of diverse projects, they are now looking to appoint an Associate-level Town Planner to help lead projects, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to business development.

The Role

As Associate Town Planner, you will:

  • Take ownership of a varied caseload including residential, strategic land, and mixed-use schemes

  • Prepare and manage planning applications, appeals, and site appraisals

  • Work closely with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to deliver planning solutions

  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge sharing

  • Support business development activities and build client relationships

About You

We're looking for a commercially aware and personable planning professional who can bring:

  • MRTPI qualification (or working towards)

  • 5+ years' experience in planning (consultancy or public sector)

  • Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and development management processes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A proactive, solutions-driven mindset and a desire to contribute to a growing practice
