Due to continued growth and contract awards, our client who are a specialised Plumbing & Heating contractor are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to support a number of commercial and industrial contracts located throughout the Fife and Edinburgh area.
Main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Conducting planned and reactive maintenance works that can include PPM's, reactive breakdowns and repairs.
* Working on various makes/models of boilers, burners and associated ancillary equipment including pumps, valves, controls and all associated.
* Working safely and efficiently to ensure client requirements are met.
* To take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.
* To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately.
* Working in a safe manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation.
* You will be working within a busy FM, client facing environment and happy to work to agreed SLA's.
Essential requirements:
* Served and completed a recognised apprenticeship.
* ACS Commercial Gas qualified.
* Possess comprehensive technical skills along with extensive experience in commercial fault finding and rectification.
* Good problem solving skills.
* Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care with excellent communication skills.
* Confidence in own ability.
* Able to participate in an on-call rota (1 in every 10 weeks).
* Full UK Drivers Licence.
* Undergo relevant Disclosure/CRB checks.
* Additional qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, etc. are also highly advantageous.
Offering:
* Salary £40k per annum.
* On call allowance £100 per week (minimum of 4 hours paid for call out).
* 29 days holidays (4 days set for Christmas and New Year).

* Overtime available although not essential.
