KS2 Teaching Assistant - Full-time, temporary long-term cover from as soon as possible until Summer 2026This full-time KS2 Teaching Assistant role begins as soon as possible and offers long-term temporary cover supporting a KS2 pupil with SEMH and cognition needs. Provide 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with SEMH and cognition needs
Assist with classroom activities and differentiated learning tasks
Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support plans
Monitor and record pupil progress and well-being
Support with midday supervision duties if required
Contribute to a calm and inclusive learning environmentIdeal KS2 Teaching Assistant:
Experience supporting pupils with SEMH and cognition needs
Understanding of behaviour support strategies and SEND provision
Strong communication and teamwork skills as a KS2 Teaching Assistant
