We are an international manufacturing company with our production  and head office staff based in Frimley. We are now recruiting for an Administrator to join our well established and successful team reporting into the Materials and Planning Manager, assisting with the purchasing related administration within the department. Working as part of a team of 5 this is a varied and interesting admin role within a successful company. We can offer flexible start and finish times, Mon to Fri hours, on site parking, 25 days holiday plus benefits and the chance to join an international company.

The role would suit candidates with proven administration experience gained within an office environment. We can provide full training on our products and procedures but if you have any administration experience gained within buying, purchasing, order processing, engineering, manufacturing or similar organisation that would be beneficial, as would any experience of processing orders and liaising with suppliers. The main duties of the role will be:-

•              Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies

•              Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details & delivery schedules

•              Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery

•              Resolve order discrepancies and maintain accurate records

•              Liaise with other departments eg. production

•              General administrative support to the department

To be successful as our Administrator you should have the following skills and experience:-

•              High level of computer literacy, particularly excel, Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, Outlook etc) and ideally some experience working with MRP systems but this is not essential.

•              Proven relevant administrative experience with any experience of working in a manufacturing, engineering, distribution, industrial or similar working environment being useful.

•              Self-starter with a proactive approach and able to work on own initiative.

•              Confident and articulate with good communication skills.
