Logistics & Customer Service Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly supportive and collaborative team, where you will play a key role in adding value to both the team and the wider business. This is a full-time, office-based position, initially offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis. Due to the office's remote location, own transport is essential.

The Role

In this varied and hands-on role, you will be responsible for delivering an excellent customer experience while supporting logistics and sales activity across the business. Key responsibilities include:

Acting as a confident and professional communicator with both internal teams and external customers
Handling incoming customer enquiries and processing sales orders
Preparing and coordinating sales orders for delivery
Planning delivery routes, using your logistical understanding to ensure efficiency
Reporting any customer service or sales issues to the Sales and Customer Service Manager
Maintaining and updating customer records accurately using SAP
Liaising with multiple departments to ensure seamless collaboration
Ensuring customer satisfaction remains at the forefront of everything you doThe Person

We are looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, adaptability, and a proactive mindset. You will ideally have:

Previous experience as a Logistics Administrator, Customer Service Administrator, or similar
Knowledge of transport management systems (advantageous but not essential)
Strong time management and organisational skills
The confidence to suggest ideas and improvements that benefit the business
The ability to remain flexible in challenging situations and find effective solutions
