Finance Team Manager

Location: Head of Finance - Council Offices, LE67 3FJ

Contract Duration: 3+ Months

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Pay Rate: £ 27.25 per hour

Responsibilities

Conduct financial appraisals and make informed investment decisions, while assessing their financial and strategic consequences.

Oversee and manage capital accounting processes, ensuring compliance with the prudential code and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Lead complex financial projects, focusing on both commercial and community outcomes, and drive change and improvements within the team.

Person Specification

Proven experience in conducting financial appraisals and making strategic investment decisions.

In-depth knowledge and experience in capital accounting, including an understanding of the prudential code and IFRS requirements.

Strong technical finance skills with the capability to lead complex work initiatives.

Commercially and community focused with a strong ability to drive change and improvements.
