Job Type: Permanent, FullTime

Purpose of the Role

To oversee a team of 2 accounts personnel who look after Sales invoicing and Sales Ledger (Credit Control).

Main Responsibilities

* Assisting with Monthly Management Accounts to strict Group deadlines (including processing of journals, Balance Sheet reconciliations and uploading data to the Group reporting system)

* Assist Finance Manager with weekly/monthly/ quarterly reporting

* Assist Finance Manager with annual budgets and forecasts.

* Prepare VAT returns

* Statutory European Sales reports (EC Sales)

* Monthly expenses analysis and posting (Concur)

* Assist with preparation of year-end audit file and Audit Schedule Preparation and liaising with auditors.

* Review of sign off checklist for each new customer account opening prior to addition of credit limits

* Review and sign off checklists for each new vendor account opening prior to addition of bank account details

* Check BACS and cheque payments before presenting for approval/signing

* Check documentation supporting customer credit notes and refunds

* Provide cover for Purchase Ledger Supervisor

* Supervising Credit controllers to include annual review of job descriptions.

* The post-holder may be asked to take on different tasks as required and all employees are expected to work collaboratively to support the overall goals of Dometic.

* To be responsible for your own health and safety and be aware of other's health and safety in the workplace.

Who are we looking for

Qualifications and Experience

We believe that the ideal candidate has the following qualifications and experiences:

* Previous experience in the preparation of monthly management accounts

* Experience in sales and purchase ledger activity

* Proven ability to work independently to deliver on specific objectives

* AAT, Part Qualified or previous experience in a similar role
