Job Opportunity: Air Import Clerk

Location: Feltham

Hours: Full-Time, Permanent working One in every five Sundays (half-day, paid overtime)

Package: £32,000 - £34,000

About the Role: 

Our client is seeking an experienced Air Import Clerk for their Feltham-based company. The successful candidate will coordinate multi-air import shipments, ensuring customs compliance whilst providing first-class customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage air import shipments from start to finish
• Liaise with airlines, customers, and customs
• Ensure compliance with CDS and customs regulations
• Use freight systems such as Boxtop or ASM Sequoia
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Support the team with general operations and logistics tasks

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in air import operations
• Familiarity with CDS (Customs Declaration Service)
• Experience with freight systems (Boxtop or Sequoia preferred)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Must pass a 5-year background check
