Location: Station Road, Sutton in Ashfield, NG175HB

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 5+ months

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Pay Rate: £ 14.82 per hour

Job Responsibilities

Perform repairs and maintenance in various environments.

Diagnose issues and arrange necessary materials.

Complete tasks on time and in one visit.

Maintain cleanliness and minimize disruption.

Assist with stocktaking and Portable Appliance Testing.

Operate vehicles and handle equipment safely.

Report any hazards or issues encountered.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Comply with Health & Safety regulations.

Support digital service delivery and value for money.

Person Specifications

Must Have

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills for face-to-face and phone interactions.

Ability to meet deadlines.

Knowledge of building construction and maintenance.

Experience dealing with the public and external agencies.

City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 (Painting) or equivalent.

Valid driving license.

Nice to Have

Understanding of Local Authority and Social Housing.

Multi-skilled tradesperson qualification.

Counterbalance forklift truck and telescopic handler license.
